Welcome to The White House Inn, a delightfully contemporary Bed and Breakfast Inn and Private Spa located in the Historic Berry subdivision, 1/2 block from the Detroit River and the Manoogian Mansion (official Detroit Mayor’s residence), 2 miles from Belle Isle and 4 miles from Downtown Detroit. The historic home was built in 1909, by Marvin Stanton, then Detroit’s lighting commissioner, as a wedding gift to his son. 

Guests may choose to stay in one of two guest bedrooms and one guest suite. Décor is tastefully simple, while respectful of the character of the home. High ceilings and large windows lend a bright, airy feel to the common living areas.

Towering pillars and 10 foot entrance doors of etched glass make a stunning entrance and invite guests in with style. Inside guests will find elegant plaster moldings, oak woodwork and floors, and the most contemporary amenities.

The Inn will open for business in late 2007. Guest Rooms, Vacation Experiences, and Special Events may be booked starting June 1st, 2007.
